any rescheduled appointment for a de-scheduled naturalization interview in SanDiego or CA in general ???

- original appointment; April 18
- appointment canceled by USCIS because of COVID; April 1

My interview as sheduled for march 24th got desheduled on march 18th, no news after that.

I had filed from california.

I tried calling USCIS asking for status of sheduling interview on last friday, they said i need to wait until July 15th to hear any new movements.

as you guys know, uscis is going to furlough 13,000 employees that mean 70% by August 3. do you guys think they will reschedule canceled naturalization appointments before this date

My local field office (Seattle) also seems to have the same phenomenon. People who have never been scheduled have been receiving interview notices after USCIS reopening. People who were scheduled interviews prior to the closure are still waiting for rescheduling. 

 

I called their phone number and was told that they initiated another background check on me, which is what's holding my case back. I'm not sure if this is also happening to other people, but it could be the reason we haven't been rescheduled yet.

i am still waiting for my naturalization  interview to be rescheduled . it was canceled on April 1st 

i called USCIS last Monday, they told me that they will start sending out rescheduled . notice withing 90 days from their reopening date which was June 4th. but they did not give any specific date even though i asked them that.

I had my resheduled naturalization interview in chatsworth CA on 16th july, got my certificate after oath ceramony on same day. Wish you all good luck too.

I was originally scheduled on March 16, 2020 in San Diego Field Office. USCIS called me on Saturday, March 14, to inform about the cancellation of appointments. The "Interview De-scheduled" letter dated July 13, 2020 just arrived this week.

 

Right now, I am still waiting for a new interview date.

N600 Original Oath Ceremony date: March 27

Rescheduled to: July 17

Field Office: Fresno, CA 

 

Just a quick update that our son's N600 Ceremony of Oath was completed on Friday, July 17 in Fresno, CA.

 

Even though the appointment letter said minors should go with their parents, we were not allowed in. The appointment was at 10:30 am and around that time the officer came out and said that due to the coronavirus situation only the persons to be sworn were allowed inside and would enter in groups of 4. When we asked about minors, he said that as long as they were over 13 years of age, they could enter alone. My son entered the building in the 3rd group of 4, said they were asked for the appointment letter and to surrender their green card. They took the Oath in groups of 4, were shown their Certificate and were handed their envelope. It was a simple and straightforward process and he left the building around 11 am.

same here, i am waiting since they cannceld my N-400 appointment on April 1. my orhinal one was on April 17. did you call them?
