I know we are supposed to have our card with us all the time.....but since you are not in the US right now I would keep it somewhere safe in the house with your passport.

Oh, it is. I already put it in the safe with the password and locked it up. The funny thing is, when i was coming here from the states, i had it in my passport and i thought "what if it slips out, and i lose it" So after i was done with it at the airport I put it in my wallet, thinking it was more secure there. And totally not think about it again, my fault i know. Well I know better now. Lesson learned the hard way, believe me.
