On May 11, 2007 I got an email from USCIS stating:

"On May 11, 2007, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action."

I never got anything in the mail "explaining this action", but I did get the following email on May 24, 2007:

"The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that was transferred to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there."

I tried calling today and finally spoke to someone because it had been more than 30 days since they said they "sent a notice explaining this action." The lady on the phone didn't seem to have much information as to why it had been transferred there. She said she thought it was because I had filed my I-130 at Vermont and "they like to keep cases together". This doesn't seem to jive with any information on the I-129F that I have ever received. Everything I read indicates it would be transfered to the National Benefits Centre in Missouri. Anyone know what is going on, or have a similar situation?
