Waiting for Interview at Frankfurt-Germany- Should I contact?

Hi,

 

It's been 4 weeks since I received an email from NVC that my documents are accepted and NVC will work with US Embassy at Frankfurt to schedule interview. Since then I have not received any email. US Embassy is opened now in Frankfurt. Should I email the embassy visa section to check the status? Any suggestions/recommendations will be appreciated.

No, because NVC schedules in coordination with the consulate.   I wasn't aware any consulate had resumed normal processing yet.  

 

In normal times it takes up to 2 months to get an appointment,  consulates have a three month or more backlog to get through first before they get to you
