My case updated yesterday, it says case was approved. YAY!

My timeline here:

07/22 mailed to TX via USPS

07/31 Checking account pending

(08/03 2 years green card expired, still working without questioning )

08/06 Received NOA letter in mail

08/26 Fingerprint waived

10/22 Transferred to another USCIS office

11/10 New card is been produced

11/12 Case was approved

Hey could be please tell what office your case got transferred to?  Was there a letter in the mail explaining the transfer process. I figured that we have the same timeline in the Texas and my case just changed to "Transferred to a new office." I just hope it didn't get tranferred to another service center because I am feeling some type of way about it. Thanks

Hi,

As I stated in my timeline, after that transferred online update, I got a letter in mailbox,  actually said the same thing transferred to another USCIS office, That's about it. After 10 days, it approved my case straightly. Guess what, I got my 10 years green card in mail today!!😀

So, don't worry a lot, once we mailed our case, we depend on USCIS to processing our case, either they need more paperwork from us, either they schedule an interview, either they issue green card, we just wait. I checked the online app daily to see any update. Be patient,  if you are confident about your case. Good luck!

Hi Everyone,

I was getting worried for a bit about my biometrics but I received an e-mail notification today that they were applied (without any actual appointment)! It took them about a month after I received my NOA in the mail ... I'm so relieved. My timeline is above... I have an SRC** case number so I'm at the Texas Service Center...

Good luck everyone!

HI everyone, I have an update on my case - but not sure if its a good one 😭   i got a notification that "My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" which i think is so weird since I didn't even get an RFE or anything! It just went straight to interview - I looked online for people who might have had this happen to them and I did see some that this also happened to them and they got approved after the interview ...

Anyway just wanted to share... I'm at the Texas Service Center and I filed my paperwork on July 1st - Received NOA on July 20th - and then got my fingerprints updated on August 26. I just hope this is over soon and that all goes well on my interview (which I don't know yet when it will be). Congratulations to all who have gotten approved!!!! So happy for you guys!

My case was received the 7th of August but never heard anything since then, no update regarding the fingerprint or anything like that. I am really worried that my file was misplaced or lost. I guess what I’m asking is there anybody in the same situation?

Hey I'm an Aug filer too and have not received any updates. I contacted my senator's office (Kamala Harris), who have helped me out in the past. But I have no idea how crazy her office is right now due to her being VP-elect. No idea how long it's gonna take to hear about fingerprints or any other updates. I saw some people who filed I-751 this year are already approved, but most of those people are in TX.

Depends where you filed from. Fill out your timeline so we can make an educated guess.

Thank you for the reply!

Glad to know my case isn't the only one, but on the other hand I wish none of us were stuck waiting like this. Here's to hoping it will be resolved very soon.
