Hi everyone.

I filed I-751 in July and the case status says it was recieved on July 28th. Since then, nothing has happened. My service center is Potomac (YSC). I thought they'd be faster than other service centers, but guess I was wrong and am getting anxious. Is anybody else in the same/similar situation?

Hello.

My case was received on July 16 at the MSC center. Like you I haven't had any update since then. Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi VJ fam,

Quick question, my Cond. GC expired 10/15 and I filed pretty much 90 days before that for removal of conditions. I live and work in Chicago currently (case is processing in Nebraska Service Center). I am looking to move to Columbus, OH for work. Wondering how it will affect my timeline and processing location if I move (same, slower, faster?) I know I will have to reverify for work and present my extension letter but apart from that how do you think this potential move would affect my GC process.

Let me know if you have any insight, appreciate your time! :)

So for the relocation part, I have no info to help you. However, they lost my 2 year GC interview paper notification before. It was such painful to call them, ask to resent, to fax, eventually didn't showed up in mail, we went to interview without interview notification anyway.

This time I changed to a PO box just in case I move during the time period. I think you can search some keyword in VisaJourney.

Hey,

The move shouldn't necessarily affect the GC process. Only thing i see is that if you need to get interviewed, the backlog of your new local may or may not be favorable.

You want to make sure you're not missing any mail though, so i'd highly recommend filing an AR-11 with the USCIS as soon as you make the move. Additionally, and i cannot stress this enough, but please make sure you file a Change of Address/Mail forwarding with the USPS.
