Hi Everyone,

I was getting worried for a bit about my biometrics but I received an e-mail notification today that they were applied (without any actual appointment)! It took them about a month after I received my NOA in the mail ... I'm so relieved. My timeline is above... I have an SRC** case number so I'm at the Texas Service Center...

Good luck everyone!

7/24 - Package sent via FedEx

7/29 - Package Received

8/3 - Money taken out of the bank

8/4- Text update on the start of the petition

8/15- NOA Received

8/25- Fingerprints were applied to my petition

I assumed that this:

As of August 25, 2020, fingerprints relating to your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXXX, have been applied to your case. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Means my FP got waivered, so now its just a waiting game yeah? If i were to need a passport stamp, I would have to request an appointment via phone call?

Good to hear from some people for whom it's taking a while to hear about biometrics - my application is also at the TX center, I received my NOA 9 days ago and no further account updates or letters - looks like I'll just have to patient & hope it will be good news on the biometrics waiver!

My center is also California (WAC), I have not seen any biometrics coming in quickly as the other centers. I guess all we can do is to wait.

Our local office is Philadelphia, PA but when my wife did the biometrics a few years ago they sent her to Syracuse, NY.

I'm hoping they just use her old info, it isn't like her finger prints changed or something.

8/10 - CC Charged for $680.

8/17 - Received I-797 NOA with 18 month extension (Notice date 8/10) - Also says "Notice Type: Receipt Notice".
8/25 - Fingerprints applied to my case.

Got a letter in the mail today, hopeful that it would be regarding the possibility of an interview not being needed or else, but it was just a letter telling me my fingerprints were applied to my case without the need of new fingerprints.

Gotta love a good waste of paper for something they already told me via email/their website.
