No it means your courier delivered it. It is probably just sitting there waiting for the contractor to process (scan) it.  Once completed your status in USCIS gets updated.

You means Uscis already have my package in their office but not open mine yet ? That was what I wanted to ask. 🙂

It hasn't been processed by the contractor.  Once they scan it and check it for completion, they will deposit the check or charge the card and USCIS will send you a I-797C.

Got another question for anyone who has already gone through the I751 process with a cover letter. Is it worth mentioning in the cover letter the reason for certain financial circumstances?

For example, my wife is an authorized user on two of my credit cards, but we don't have a joint checking because we haven't found any bank that doesn't charge ridiculous fees or asks for very high checking balances (We're both in our late 20's and still relatively broke).

Our savings are under one account because our Savings bank asked for a lot of sensitive info (SS cards, ID, etc) to be sent over email and we didn't feel safe doing so, but they dont have any branches in the US for us to do the paperwork in person so we just kept the one savings account under my name.

We don't own any property, don't own a car as we live in NYC at the moment, etc. Is it worth explaining these things in the cover letter or would we be shooting ourselves in the foot disclosing too many details?

It usually is good to be proactive when there’s little financial commingling as they would probably send an RFE to ask about it. I’d include a brief explanation.
BTW, check out Ally Bank for a low fee bank.

What kind of other evidence do you have?

-US Gov't letter regarding stimulus payment (amount was for $2400 since we filed taxes together) and the letter is addressed to us both

-photos with my family, photos with her family on vacation

-photos with wife's childhood best friend and her child

-other family and friends birthday and holiday cards addressed to us

How about a lease to both your names? Utility bills? IDs listing the same address?

Lease - No as we live with my family and never had any official rental agreement, we help out with what we can.

Utility bill - Only one under my name, as it is not my household.

ID listing the same address - Yes, we do.

If possible, see if your family can write an affidavit explaining your living arrangements. We lived with my-in-laws for a couple of months after I immigrated and included an affidavit to explain why we didn’t have a lease straight away.

Will try that. We did live with my family even during my AOS, told the IO about it and there wasn't much fuss during the interview.

Would there be any risk involved for my mother to write an affidavit if she currently doesn't have any legal status in the US?

I know she wouldn't be against writing it but I wouldn't want to create any inconvenience for her.

I’m not sure, I would personally be cautious and skip the affidavit in that case.
