Hi folks, we filed a EB1A based I-485 AOS application in October 2019. Our status was RTS (Ready to Schedule) when COVID-19 hit. Unfortunately, we never received our interview notices and eventually received an Interview Cancelled status online. USCIS seems to have resumed in-person activities since June 4th but we've not seen any change in our status. Has anybody recently received AOS interview notices from San Jose FO? I've been hearing that USCIS is prioritizing Naturalization ceremonies over AOS interviews. If thats the case, when will we likely see AOS interviews resuming for October 2019 filers? TIA.

I see the following message on USCIS:

Quote

Beginning June 4, 2020, certain USCIS field offices and asylum offices will resume non-emergency face-to-face services to the public.

My understanding is non-emergency face-to-face services include AOS interviews. When I called USCIS Contact center, the agent said the same thing.

I agree with you. I believe AOS interviews are beginning to be rescheduled. Let’s hope; I’m also waiting for mine in Albany, New York. Fingers Crossed it happens soon!!

I am waiting for mine in Albany as well. I checked the USCIS website on Friday and it said all offices are closed. Checked it again on Saturday and said all offices are now open. And today it shows that the miami field office is closed until further notice. So I’m guessing that’s the only office closed right now? Hopefully they reopened the Albany field office today if that’s the case 😊
