I just looked at my NOA1 on my I-130 for my wife, and the approval was only made for my 5yr old stepchild  , what do I need to do? :help: :help: :help: :help:

NOA1 is not an approval. It is just a receipt. Your timeline says nothing about an NOA2 or petition approval. Please clarify your question.

I'm sorry but this still doesn't make sense. If one of your I-130 petitions is approved, it was approved in twelve days. Please give us the details on the notice. What does it say in the main body of the text below the small boxes. For an approved I-130 the text will begin with, "The above petition has been approved."

In any event, you would do nothing until you have an approved petition for your spouse.

I have to diffirent case numbers, because I filed for my wife and her child, today I got an email saying that one of my cases was approved, and notice was send, and a case number is for a child.

I see. Thanks.

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR

ORPHAN

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On June 20, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this

I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

I'll believe this is actually the status when the case file gets to NVC. USCIS is known for making mistakes on status updates. A 12 day approval is extremely rare. Still the OP can do nothing meaningful until the spouse's I-130 is approved.

Ok, I send my forms in the same envelope with a payment for both, I got 2, diffirent case # NOA1 for both at the same time, now I get an approval just for child. So now all docs will be send to NVC and my wife will still wait for an approval for 6 or months? I am so confused, don't know what to do?

I recommend you do NOTHING until your wife's I-130 petition is approved. If you are going the K3 route anyway, the I-130 for the child just sits and waits until it is used for the AOS process.

So you are saying don't send any docs to NVC, and just wait?
