For the Record I have a CR1 case. I am only updating here so that the other members that are at the Barbados embassy will have some sort of visibility. As of right now it seems like any details on the US embassy in Barbados is top secret

Hi everyone, I thought I'd join this thread. I'm waiting on my interview with the embassy here in Barbados as well. The visa issuance numbers are out for August. They did a grand total of 1 CR1, and 1 IR1 visas for the whole of August. They were busy with 116 B1/B2 visas though. For those of us waiting to be reunited with our spouses or loved ones this is not encouraging data.

@Watch Guy I noticed that as well. Im not sure what the Barbados embassy is doing because it makes no sense to me. Im hoping that the month of September they switched focus. For all that is interested in this data

Okay Barbados has dates available

That's good news. I wasn't even aware that they didn't have dates available before. Hopefully, we all get our interviews soon so this nightmare can be over. Even though I'm DQed, my case is still at the NVC.

So had my interview finally today was smooth and got approved but was freaked out about something she only asked me for birth, photos certificate, police certificate and i34. Since my fiance did not make enough money last year he wrote a letter stating tha he now has 2 jobs, meets minimum requirement and will take care of my financial needs... they did not ask for ds 160, irs transcript, w2, employment letter. So am kinda freaking out here coz kinda seem old... I know experiences are different but......

Once they are uploaded they shouldn't ask for it, and it only seems like they need originals of certain things. Congrats on the approval!!
