I-129f typo made for my fiance birthday

Hey there everybody,

 

This morning I just received my form I-797, Notice of Action in the mail for my form I-129f. I made an error I cannot believe I made, after double checking the document multiple times before mailing it to the USCIS. My fiance noticed right away when I sent her a picture of the receipt, I was so excited I didn't notice. I put down the wrong date of birth for her. She was born 03/24/1991, what I put was 03/25/1991. What should I do? Clearly a simple typo. I noticed other topics about typos, and waiting until it gets further along, and having them fix it then. Or login to my USCIS account and send message explaining it. I did not file it online however. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unless you sent a copy of your beneficiary finance's passport page, how would they know what her true birth date is? And even if they do have a copy, maybe they didn't notice the discrepancy.

 

Now that you received your NOA1 and have a receipt number, I think it's best to call the USCIS customer service number and ask them how to proceed.

You could call USCIS and try to fix it that way if you filled out wrong on the petition.
If the error was made by USCIS, you could correct it here.

I just got the NOA1 in the mail today and realized I also entered a typo on my beneficiary's birth date. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has experienced this, but I'm very upset with myself about it...
