My RFE arrived today. They need an English translation of my divorce decree. Did you guys translate any documents using a service or did you do it yourselves? I'm going to try and send this back tomorrow morning.

You can do it yourself if you’re fluent. No need to notarize it or get an Apostille.

I am fluent in Spanish/English so I took your advice and translated it. Sent RFE back this morning.

You included a signed statement that said you speak both fluently and you did it to the best of your ability as per the links’ instructions?

I went through the files again on Sunday night. These are most, but not all of the cases which saw action in the last week.

While most attention is being focused on mid June, we can clearly see quite a good start is being made on July for some lucky filers who are seeing approvals.

July 7th in particular seems to have been allocated to a case officer. Makes me wish my petition had arrived a day later...

This doesn't include cases processed on Monday and Tuesday of this week, obviously. This is a 4 day weekend for some places, but hopefully USCIS California keeps plugging away!

my guess is different officers take certain # of cases...and from then it depends on how fast or slow they work, or how complicated each file is.
