Hi everyone. We finally received the RFE and they require proof of legal termination of marriage and proof of US citizenship.

I’m not sure how to provide proof of legal termination of marriage since I have never been married before. Is it possible they mixed up the names? Can anyone suggest how we go about responding to this? Thanks! C92DA445-E473-4289-B8E0-E293C5FC7C41.thumb.jpeg.15ff32853ecce6ec068fd497cfda0afb.jpeg

WOW they do a thorough background check on beneficiary also even though the beneficiary lives in a country outside USA. No wonder it takes them 6-9 months to process I-129f

@Daymellow did they give you a timeframe of when you should hear back?

On the case status website, it just says name was changed and that they will review a request for data change.

No timeframe or anything.

After a long wait, our K1 has been approved this morning. I’m in tears.

NOA1: 14/7/2020

NOA2 Approval: 5/3/2021.

I hope whoever is waiting gets a response and God bless through this journey.

Congrats, 🥳🥳🥳🥳

I really don't look forward to the NVC wait.  I hear since the country Embassy of mine is in the Philippines.  I've heard the wait times for that could be waiting yet another year.  I really hope that's not the case, but time will tell... ***FINGERS CROSSED***

I sent a withdrawal of the I-129F last week. Filed the I-130 today. I currently have 2 petitions in the system. Haha. 😅

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁

Don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat. Moscow hasn't done anything since March of last year and they won't tell us any updates either. Many people have resorted to emailing other embassies to see if they'll accept the cases. And then we found out yesterday that they are interviewing some students! We can't believe their priorities

that is crazy, we atleast I know I'm not alone.   Last time I did this whole K1 Visa process, it only took maybe 8-9 months from NOA1 to Interview, but I understand why.  Just sucks lol
