Hi Everyone,

Did anyone got approved after the first EO?
If yes, what was your PD/NOAs, also at what stage was your case when  EO had taken effect.

It will process as normal.. but the embassy/ CO will not issue until the ban is lifted/ expired

Thinking about this, as parents are immediate relatives will there be a possibility of creating a petition to overturn the ban on parents IR5 and fiancé K1 on the EO. As the president claimed, the order can be amended within 30 days of it being issued on june 23rd and 60 days thereafter.

I think since most of embassies are still only processing urgent cases and we won’t see any interviews for ir-5 anytime soon, once they return to normal business they will prioritize spousal and minor children visas first, but if they start interviews for parents as well that will be nice, but I won’t have my hopes too high though.
