Adjustment of Status is not affected...Green cards are not affected other than delayed interviews due to Covid.........there is a lot of misinformation and a lot of people just pulling stuff out of thin air.......

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Hello!

I might get my K1 visa soon, but I was wondering, will I get a green card after the marriage? I know green card issues have been stopped for 60days and might be stop til the end of year.

Anyone has an idea?

Obtaining a green card from within the US after marriage on a K-1 is a process unto itself, even pre-covid, with wait times up to one year.  This is one of the many drawbacks of the K-1 visa vs. the CR-1.  Check the guides here on VJ for a rundown of that process.

Since USCIS offices have been closed for months and not conducting interviews, that backup is expected to continue, especially because they have stated that the plan is to prioritize N-400 interviews.

The best thing is to get your AOS application in as soon as you have the marriage certificate, to get into the queue.  Btw, you can check processing times for your local office at USCIS.gov.
