Is this true about the website?

Hello, 

 

I saw this post/picture on Facebook similar to my question here and thought I would ask the knowledgeable community here.

 

Is it true that on the ceac website, where it says where your case is currently at: 

 

If it says Embassy then the Embassy is able to schedule your interview. But if it says NVC then they can't schedule your interview until it says Embassy? 

 

Does anyone know? Or does it not matter? 

 

I just hadn't seen this before. If true its a great way of keeping informed about your case.

NVC and the embassy work together to schedule spouse visa

i would say yours is ready for embassy scheduling and that is what NVC means by this status

they can't schedule until the embassy is fully staffed and ready (Phase 3 of government plan)
