The nature of this theater is to play it up before evidence comes out, drive up emotions and wedge people into religious type camps (setting the stage for psychological anchoring) so when the evidence does come out, it won't matter. Hence wanting to discuss it at one time, and change the subject (using the next "abracadabra") at another. It's really funny how this sort of tactic seems to repeat itself in every related circumstance.

I am curious as to when this photo was taken?  My understanding is that the recent issue, the pull rope had been cut down, but this photo indicates it was still hanging from the door pull.  I did see a picture from 2019 showing it in that position when the 21 car was using that garage.

I don't know. It's a no-brainer to me that it probably was a door pull of some sort, but it seems NASCAR is doubling down to state that his was the only garage to have it be in this position. Furthermore he's saying he never saw it himself in that position, only was informed of it being like this. I assume that the FBI would have long camera footage to go through to have determined it was placed this way/who placed it/when it was placed. Quite an odd one that's for sure. This photo was supposedly released by NASCAR, and I assume it was taken the day it was found and originally reported by an official. If you're saying you saw a photo with his car in that garage last year with the rope in the same way for sure? Because NASCAR is saying that the rope was put that way at the end of the season so his team wasn't aware of it's placement like that.

This is the side-by-side photo I was referring too.  It is clearly knotted as a noose in 2019, but the 2020 photo it is missing presumably cut down.  Who knows why someone fashioned it this way prior to 2019.

  Probably just the way they always did it. It actually seems like a safety issue though. We are not allowed to use loop pulls. It has to be knotted or have a grip.

A lifetime ago I worked the NASCAR circuit when I didn't have curling and skiing gigs to shoot.  Saw plenty of those Door Noose and even chains.  Some fancier g-raw-ges had lectric ones.     I'm sure Bubba isn't that blind and would have seen it too.

This whole noose nonsense is absurd. Yes a few blacks were lynched by hanging, but many 1000s of whites were hung throughout history also. In fact the most iconic images of nooses is whites being hung in the wild west.

Its just amazing how the mention of a noose sparks racial outrage.
