USPS sent an email advising that:

Your item was delivered at 5:43 AM on August 21, 2007 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 to INS . The item was signed for by M S_______.

Wow....they must start work pretty early over there!! Interesting how USPS still calls it INS even though the address clearly states USCIS.

My I 485 was also touched Jan 2007,,,,,would be intrested in seeing the complete list of who was transferred to CSC a couple of years ago. I lost sight of it when I got my 2 year GC. When did they stop transferring ppl?

Yeah!

I too am looking forward to seeing our checks cashed ... although that would probably not happen for another 2 weeks or so. People would think we're crazy to look forward to such an event.

As to your question about transferring people to CSC, they're still doing it. In my signature you will see a link to a post that has a running list of current CSC transferees.

Well, on my side still no touch since June 24. My husband's I-485 was last touch in 2005.

Have you all think that they might be looking to the old info just to compared with the new ones? that is what I think.

There's really no "new" info to compare back in January 2007 when they "touched" my old I-485 since I just mailed my I-751 last Aug 8.

My therory for what its worth, is I think we were all touched back in January, as most of our dates are near and they were looking at transferring them back to the relevant centres, like I presume mine went back to Newark or Vermont and when someone goes to hopefully approve my I-751 they will call for the file again, and again there I will receive a "touch"

Thats my thoughts of the matter anyhow!

Wonder how long they will take to send me a NOA seen as they have cashed the check????!

somehow I have a feeling that this doesn't apply for "fees" and that the government considers itself exempt anyway...

Interesting that your receipt date is also the date you sent your I-751. Does your NOA indicate if it was issued by VSC or if your file was transferred to CSC?
