Our check cleared the bank yesterday 20 Sept '07.........I looked online at the check and there is a WAC number.....this means CSC right??

Waiting for NOA letter now.....making progress.

Yes, your file has been forwarded to CSC! Hope you get your NOA soon! However, you'll have to wait until you get your Biometrics NOA before you can track your case status online.

I'm so tempted to request for a change in our biometrics appointments and have them all on the same day but I don't want any more delays. So I'll have to suck it up and miss work more than once.

I would take him with me when you go for your bios and see if they will do his at the same time. Just take his letter and ID with you. I bet they will do it!

Yeah ... I'm so tempted to do that too. I just don't want to risk him missing school twice especially now that he's in high school. Decisions, decisions ... :D

You'll have to wait until you get the Biometrics NOA as that's the case number that will work for online tracking.

Got home to find my biometrics appointment in the mail - 9/28/07 at 1.00pm in Louisville. Woohooooooooooo. Thank goodness I already had a hair appointment arranged for the day before - have to look my best if I am going to be stuck with the same picture for the next 10 years!!! :lol:

Betti, don't worry about your trip. Once you have your receipt/NOA1 it says on there that your green card is extended by 1 year. You just need to carry the notice with you on your trip along with the green card and your passport.

I saw yesterday that someone else who was transferred to CSC got an extremely speedy approval - 6 weeks or so from applying. Hope that pattern holds for us all!
