my  status case was ready to be scheduled for an interview.

I juste changed my adress
Nexts day my case  updated  to interview cancelled

i don’t now if my interview it was scheduled already or not

On June 8th field office called my husband and rescheduled interview to June 15th and then 3 days later status online showed it was canceled. I called support center twice and the officer told me that she did find two different statuses. In their system my interview still scheduled and on online case tracker it says canceled. They said they escalated my case and I need to wait for tier 2 officer to call me back. Nobody ever called me back. So we just showed up at field office on the scheduled date. And it was never canceled. So there must be a glitch in online case tracker.

That is awesome! Can you please share your I-751 interview experience, how did it go and what questions did they ask?

Did you bring more evidence and documentation?

Thank you and congrats!!!

My interview was on June 15th. You can only enter at least 15 minutes before your interview schedule. And we need to put mask on. After the security check and showed my ID, we waited around 15 minutes. And a male officer called us in together. I was so nervous and at first he didn’t sound so friendly. Plus it was hard to know whether he was smiling because of the mask 😂 We took oath to tell the truth and he reminded us not to answer for each other and that we are being recorded.

Question for me :

- when and where did you got married?

- where did you go for honeymoon?

- where was your favorite place of honeymoon trip?

- what’s your husband job?

- do you have kids? (my answer was just a short NO, and he seemed didn’t expect me to explain why)

Question for my husband:

- how did you guys meet?

- he asked about people that signed our affidavit (it was his mom and his best friend)

we didn’t keep copies of our applications so we completely forgot what we have sent. But we did bring our most recent joint tax return, bank statements, and more photos. That is all.
The interview took around 15 minutes. After that he gave us a interview results notification which stated that they need to review before making final decision. Two hours later my status changed to “new card is being produced “

June 16th status changed to “case was approved”
June 26th changed to “card was mailed to me”

June 29th changed to  “card was picked up by US postal service”

July 1st I received my 10 years green card in the mail.

This happened to my spouse as well. April interview was cancelled, and we got a letter a couple weeks ago from our local immigration office saying we're scheduled for a mid-July interview. The very next day the USCIS website said our new appointment was cancelled. We're going to follow your example and just show up for the latest scheduled interview, since this seems to be a pattern for several folks.

Hey all! Just had my case updated to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". How long after this notification did you get your actual interview date (pre-Covid cancellations). Thanks in advance!

My I-751 took almost three weeks. Didn’t apply for N-400.

I think the response to your question is that it depends on how busy your field office is. If there is a long queue for interviews then you are going to wait longer than people in less busy field offices. The status update to "We scheduled an interview for your Form..."  only happens when the interview date is scheduled.

Hey, everyone!

Has anyone had an interview scheduled since the shutdown? Anything scheduled for August? Or just crickets?

I heard they are avoiding scheduling anything until Congress gives the emergency funds but I still want to believe there is hope and that won’t be the case in every office...

Ok guys what's going on??  Is Haiti even scheduling interviews?? Omg

what does haiti have to do with i751

Processing times haves reduced to 20 months instead of 28. so as long as u applied before november u can submit inquiry out of processing time, but i doubt it will help to be honest. USCIS is simply not interviewing us, they let us live in anxiety after all these years spent in US... So sad..

That would be a question if you were at the NVC stage.

The interview is in the US if you are filing I-751. It's not based on country that you are from.
