April this year Trump signed an executive order banning some countries from applying to US permanent and I think it is majorly marriage/family Ion know the supposed code for it maybe K1 Visa category or sum. So I am intending to study in the US as an undergraduate and later on join the US Military and naturalize if it’s possible

Do you guys think I can still be able to

N/B: I’m from Nigeria, and we are the Biggest US partner in Counter-Terrorism or sum in Africa so I was shocked by him adding us to the list of country that is suspect-able terrorist while we have never done any of such act but Saudi-Arabia which some of its citizens has even killed Americans on America soil don’t get the Ban

You can apply for the student visa for sure as it’s not banned at present. If your sole intention is to join military while in F1 visa thru MAVNI and become a citizen, getting approved for F1 visa is difficult imo.

I believe MAVNI is closed anyway.

A student visa does not grant any direct path to citizenship nor joining the military. Non US citizens must be permanent residents before joining the military. There is no direct path from student visa to permanent resident

No. F1 visas are granted with the requirement that you plan to leave after the end of your studies. In fact if you cant demonstrate that you plan to leave after your studies you wont be given the visa in the first place

Your whole intent for F1 visa seems to be a USC and that is a problem you’ll face in obtaining the visa.

FYI, the program MAVNI that allowed some legal non immigrants to join the military and become a USC is terminated at present.

No.  Even if there were a way for you to join the US military (which there isn't), you still likely could not use OPT status to do so.  OPT employment must be in your field of study.  There's too much within the military that would not qualify for this -- Basic Training, for example -- where you would not be doing anything connected to your major area of study.

And, immigrant intent is another reason why you are unlikely to get a student visa (along with your other posts concerning finances).  Student visas are not pathways to LPR or citizenship status.
