You email the NVC, they forward it on to the embassy, who makes the decision on your case. NVC are the ones who communicate the final decision, at least in the case of a rejection,.

Good luck! It seems like they are only accepting things on the official (very narrow) list with very solid evidence attached. If you fall within those parameters, you might be in luck!

Thanks! We're only just submitted all forms and documentation. I was reading somewhere that at this stage the it's NVC who decide either to send it directly to embassy, and that people are requesting expedite processing on each of NVC processing stages. But it may be wrong info 😅

Hmm, not sure about that. But I heard it was the embassy who decided, and that would make sense looking at how some embassies seem to accept quite frivolous reasons (missing each other, want to spend holidays together), but others are watertight in their policies (like London).

Anyway, good luck with your application! Hope you hear some good news soon

I'm sorry to hear that! We've just sent our expedite request today and just wondering when i can expect hearing something. This is  with NVCexpedite@state.gov

I'm sorry to hear it! I assume you were doing DCF. Did you request the expedite processing with NVC or London Embassy?

I am CR1! PD date Nov 1. Approved April 30, then DQ May 30. Been a long long year!! It’s such a shame because everything moved so quickly and smoothly until Covid!  I sent our on Sep 9 to NVC. It took 2 weeks for London to deny- I think 2 weeks for expedite cases seems to be about the norm!! Good luck!

You’ve absolutely got to be next in line Hannah. If you don’t hear by Thursday evening I’ll eat my hat 🎩

If only they did do interviews on a sunday😅

Lol! I didn't check the calendar with that one. I wish they were working weekends right now, might make the process a bit faster for everyone!

But yeah, Monday the 2nd, in that case 😅

One day behind you... We got this😬

It’s nice to hear I’m not the only May date waiting! It feels like 90% of May people got their interview dates in September so it was a bit gut wrenching to have just missed it. Crossing my fingers we are all on Thursday!

We also emailed the email address on top of the 221g explaining that it was already in CEAC, that we had reuploaded it anyway, and attached the scan to the email. Hopefully they remedy this quickly since we were not asked for a paper copy couriered to the embassy.

Just wanted to update this in case anyone else has this very strange issue---

We reuploaded the w-2 in CEAC yesterday, October 5th, and emailed the embassy with a scan and mentioned that the w-2 had been accepted by NVC in June when we became DQ. Got an email this morning October 6th,  (9:00 am UK time) saying they have the W-2 now and the case is with an officer. Our CEAC status changed from "Refused" to "Administrative Processing" at some point today!

will let everyone know when we finally get to "issued"
