Congrats.  When I went for my interview it was a couple months after our 2 year and they made the adjustments at the embassy during the interview.  All the best.

Thanks! Just really hoping to see some more movement and appointments scheduled over the next few days and then hopefully our turn will soon be here. Just want the wait to be over now!!

So great to hear of all of the successful visa interviews :) Hoping this month there’s more movement and hopefully my turn to get a slot in November :)

Hang in there @R1CH1991 I'm right there with you still, don't forget! :)

Partner had his interview about an hour ago-- was in and out in like 45 minutes and they kept his passport. They only asked where we met and what I do for work.

The only thing is we received 221g for my W-2 to be uploaded into CEAC (actually the W-2 literally says "Scan  W-2" but she told my partner to upload it). My W-2 is already in CEAC and was accepted back in June. I have uploaded it again  and hit submit to be safe.

anyone have any insight into how long this might delay us? really had our heart set on him getting here this month.

You’re the third I recall this happening to since interviews resumed. It was 18 days for 8bithearts.

Thanks @Wuozopo-- I searched the threads after I posted and saw this had happened before! My partner had the W-2 with him but they didn't want the paper copy...just wanted a scan of the document which is already accepted in CEAC. How strange and frustrating that this keeps happening!

We also emailed the email address on top of the 221g explaining that it was already in CEAC, that we had reuploaded it anyway, and attached the scan to the email. Hopefully they remedy this quickly since we were not asked for a paper copy couriered to the embassy.

Yes, it sounds a bit glitchy. Or perhaps it’s just one officer who doesn’t know how to find it?? Gotta wonder when odd things happen.

We tried around Sep 26th, got acknowledged a few days laters and turned down on Saturday (just a few days ago.)

Same for me; we had a legitimate reason, and they rejected us which is so disheartening. And then I read other people from other embassies get approved because it’s their birthday the next month and they want to be together. I feel like the London embassy is much harsher than others maybe. DQ since May30 and just praying we hear soon- it’s been 4.5 months!

I'm sorry to hear that! We've just sent our expedite request today and just wondering when i can expect hearing something. This is  with NVCexpedite@state.gov

I'm sorry to hear it! I assume you were doing DCF. Did you request the expedite processing with NVC or London Embassy?

I get this idea, too. Seems Manila and Sydney embassies simply "we miss each other" or "want to spend our anniversary together" are accepted. Ah well. Seems like London is allowing only a very few cases through!

That is where we sent it. I would say 4 or 5 days to get an acknowledgement then the decision within a week if it is a rejection, can't speak for acceptances - possibly longer to allow them to investigate and get approval or something?

I thought it was going to NVC instead of particular embassies for acceptance.

thanks, that helps. I'm hoping for the best, although it's difficult by hearing about so many rejections.

You email the NVC, they forward it on to the embassy, who makes the decision on your case. NVC are the ones who communicate the final decision, at least in the case of a rejection,.

Good luck! It seems like they are only accepting things on the official (very narrow) list with very solid evidence attached. If you fall within those parameters, you might be in luck!
