any thoughts on whether or not we hear about the next round of interviews this week, or will it be next? thursday is the usual day and it also happens to be the 1st, soooo maybe? ugh, once again so anxious about all this... i feel i will be devastated if we don’t hear anything this time. it’s already been a struggle as is, with delays and flight cancellations. i know i’m not alone in this feeling and i hate it for all of us.

Is anyone else concerned that the recent increase in Covid-19 infections and rumblings about a new London lockdown being likely will spook the embassy and cause them to just shut down completely again?

I DQ'd on July 1st and am keeping my fingers crossed to hear something on Thursday (hoping I just squeeze into this group!), so I am really hoping they keep processing spouse visas at least!

Lets hope lockdown will not happen! 😭

My fingers and toes are all crossed!  I guess I am just paranoid because the embassy still seems to be functioning on a bit of a skeleton crew (not answering phone calls or emails, for example - emails at least seem to get only copy paste "look at our website" replies in my experience!)

Here is hoping they keep working whatever happens!

Haha... I've also been trying to figure it out. Glad I'm not the only one losing it😅

my guess is next week, as the beginning of sept nothing happened, the week later a whole batch was released

I pre-suppose that they evaluate capacity on the very last day of the month/first few days of the following month

these are guesses though!

Had my interview today and was approved (woohoo.) Just wondering, tracking my case going to issued is that going to be through the ceac status check? It still says Ready instead of AP or Issued.

And courier info, will I get an email when its at the depot?

Does the embassy send you a checklist of documents to bring to the interview, right now I don’t have anything.

Also, will I be allowed in as the Petitioner or will I have to stand and wait outside ?

No, they don't send you a check list but it states here what to bring:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/LND-London.html

And I highly doubt they would allow anyone other than the applicant due to COVID-19 stricter rules although won't hurt to ask. There is a cafe across the road apparently where you can wait.

You have to wait outside, unless you are the applicant or one of the applicants you aren't allowed inside (this is due to COVID)

There is a cafe outside! I didn't try it but theres also a lot of places to sit down so I wouldn't necessarily worry.

Yes and yes

It always says ready after interview, then will change to AP and Issued in no particular time frame. They have been fast lately presumably because not issuing many visas, so no big queue.

The embassy’s list is here on their website. Most of your documents were already submitted to NVC so they have digital copies, but they will need to see the civil documents with their own eyes, ie birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate.....

We got DQ'ed June 17th, does anybody have an idea when we should expect to be scheduled for interview. It has been really frustrating waiting without any form of communication from NVC, last time I check case was still at NVC.
