My interview was arranged by the NVC when they sent our case to London.

It is likely that I will need to reschedule my interview.

I have registered by logging in at "https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/"

I can't, however, see any option to reschedule my interview.

Is anyone with experience able to assist? Thank you very much!

I had the same. You have to wait until it expires. From the London embassy:

"If you wish to reschedule your interview appointment date, you should wait until after the original appointment date has passed and then sign in to your account at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv to book a new interview date.

Please note, you should not expect your Visa Appointment Service account to be updated to allow you to schedule a new interview untilafter the scheduled appointment date has passed. Until then, the account will still display details of the original appointment. You need not be concerned. You are not required to attend that appointment. "

Thank you. How was the process of rescheduling, for you?

Were other appointments available the next day, or did you need to wait for a new batch to be released?

Also, when did you go through this? Thank you!

I didnt, I was scared that with the lockdown backlog rescheduling would mean putting me at the end of the queue.  I tried to ask the embassy for some estimates if

I rescheduled but they kindly told me to eff off. So Im doing the interview next week.

Sorry I cant be of more help.

Well, they didnt accept my 2017 tetanus booster because I had no proof of having the original 3 doses. Sneaky....

It’s not just a tetanus jab on the list. The diphtheria and pertussis part of Tdap have to be accounted for as well. Is that what was missing?

No it wasnt that, I had the right jab but I dont have records of the original 3 doses you get when you are a kid. But since my adult booster was more than a year ago, while my GP assumes i am fully inmunised as any other 30 year old in Europe, Visamedicals treated it as I had only got 1 dose in my life and needed a booster.

Oh well. I paid the bloody extra £40 just to be done with it.

Not at all, that's super helpful.

My wife and I are also in a similar head space, so I totally understand why you'd go for the original date!

I suppose we'll bank on the queue being based on our DQ date, and that we'll be able to reschedule with the next batch of DCF self-schedulers. (Famous last words...)

Best of luck with your interview next week!

we received an email this morning from NVC stating that our expedite wasn’t approved.

i’m not at all surprised, the chances were very slim, but we still wanted to try. at least we know now that they do eventually reply, approved or not.

Oh, that's a shame...

I hope you don't wait too long for the regular processing.

What reason did you give for the expedite, if I may ask ?

Wondering if anyone has any input on this--just received an email that our second expedite request was forwarded to the Embassy, but obviously we already have our interview date. Should I contact NVC or the Embassy to basically tell them "nevermind", or can I just ignore it? Worried our interview might be inadvertently cancelled due to the new expedite.
