Oh! I didnt know this!

Do I still need 2 photos for the interview though?

Just one for the interview at the embassy; they scan it digitally for you there.

And don't worry about the picture they take at the medical; you'll never have to see it again. On the visa and GC they'll use the picture you hand over at the embassy.
Which is just as well, because I had just had my wisdom teeth removed when they took the picture for the medical.

Let's just say, it was not a good look. 🐿️

I’ve been trying to figure out what photo they use on the Green Card... this is good to know as the one I’ve got my visa is one of the better ones 😂

Lucky you. 😊 My greencard (from K1 adjustment of status) had a creepy digital photo they snapped at the biometrics appointment. I’m sure my flip phone took better quality pictures.

My passport & UK drivers license are pretty much like that. I’m looking forward to the fresh start!

Honestly lol. My K1 looked like an Interpol mugshot. I'll make sure to hand them a nice photo this time.

Exactly! They take them there now, so they can send the full report digitally.

Thing is, even their website still says to bring in 4 passport photos. Hubby will still probably get them to take with just in case.

Once the medical is booked they send a second e-mail that states they are no longer required and that they take them electronically, no need for physical ones at all!

Yep, they’ll email just ahead of the appointment anyway to let him know.

Does anyone know how long the UK Police cert (ACRO) is valid for?
Mine is dated January this year so over 6 months old.
It was accepted as DQ in April.
Obviously if lockdown hadn't happened i'd be in for interview before now.

Thanks

It's valid for 12 months so you should be good.
