Litigation usually has to do with law... at least I think. There obviously was a problem, but you cleared and they are processing you again, so this is good news. Plus you are at the CSC and from what I read here it seems to go a bit faster with them.

I'm sure they'll tell you more soon.

I called CSC today to check on my case and the officer made it sounds like name checks were being performed. Perhaps that what they mean by litigation cleared.

I have never seen or read about this type of email before.

Litigation means that something regarding the case was being challenged in the courts. This being resolved the case would be begin processing again. Was their something unique regarding your case? Could USCIS have sent the wrong email message?

I'd take that as internal investigation of your A-file thru their Central Index System..Awesome! I never thought they would disclose something like that in the email..
