hi there. i have changed my game plan...i will be taking the K1 route...i will visit her, meet her family and if everything is well i will do a engagement party, take photos etc...then i come back home and start the k1 process, during the process i will make couple more visits and have more evidence of time spent together...

You do an engagement party and send photos?????

NO WAY

it will look like the marriage happened in Morocco and you need a CR1

i said NO engagement photos for a reason

If there is any party ahead the woman and man would do it separately and engagement parties are not normal in Morocco

a  man and woman dressed in beautiful clothing and photo graphed together is looked on as  marriage photos by the embassy even though it is not deemed recogized by government in Rabat as legal marriage

Please do this right and avoid problems

said it before a K1 in  Morocco has little chance for a visa / it is not guaranteed to have an approval /  too many are denied and have to marry and go thru the CR1 after

as the embassy also knows the Moroccan family likes to be present at the marriage and take part

If you are talking about a standard FBI record check where you send in the fingerprint card to receive your records, it takes a minimum of 14 weeks, all of mine have taken 14 to 16 weeks from when I mail the card and money order to them, and I have been doing a FBI record check every January for the past 8 years that I can remember. It's not very expensive but even doing electronic fingerprints doesn't speed up the process much, and your right, with the virus now it may take longer. It has current processing time on their website, I haven't looked lately, but I'll check and post back here. But this past January I mailed the first week of January, and didn't get the envelope until April.

I got the police clearance here in my county and i walked in  paid $15 and had a transcript that day / a  speeding ticket was on there and the clerk laughed and told me to slow down

FBI clearance is not needed in Morocco just a county or state one is fine

The above is absolutely correct.  Don't bother with a K-1 from Morocco, and DO NOT have an engagement party there.  If is counter to the local custom and you can find yourself deemed to be "too married for a fiance visa and not married enough for a spouse visa".  A real can of worms.  Stop looking for an easy way and start following the advice you've been given.  Otherwise, expect a lot of disappointment and heartache for all involved.
