Of course it is, what has that got to do with you repeatedly stating incorrect facts about “all green cards are frozen”?

I didn't keep stating that. I already posted a link and correct myself. Now you are apparently trying to pick a fight.

You repeatedly keep trying to attack others that disagree with you.

You can always read the EOs rather than being misinformed by CNN/Time and NPR.  It isn't like the Whitehouse is hiding the orders.

What lol you spent 3 pages of the forum repeatedly ignoring various posters correcting  you and now I’m “picking a fight” because it’s obvious the EO is political? Huh? Yeah I think I’m done here dude. Bye.

That is true, but there's no need to attack people who are misinformed or misled by news articles. Not every CNN or NPR articles are misleading though.

You spent 4 pages attacking me every 3 seconds after I admitted i was misled by an NPR news article. Chill out.

Can't do this anymore? Then just relax and go for a walk and be grateful that you are a naturalized citizen.

Yes, all green card approvals will be stopped under this president until January if he loses in November.

Correction.
Not all green cards are halted.

I believe it is the green cards issuance for the applicants outside the U.S.

Good luck.

For those people who care about accuracy rather than quoting misleading news articles.

Method 1 of getting a green card, adjustment of status within the US, is not banned.

As already mentioned by other posters, green cards are not issued outside the US, ever. Immigrant visas are issued, and after someone enters on their immigrant visa they immediately become LPRs (green card holders).

So Method 2, entering with an immigrant visa, is temporarily banned under the EO for some (not all) categories of immigrants, namely: parents of US citizens, all “family preference” categories (children over 21 of USCs, married children of USCs, siblings of USCs, and spouses and children of permanent residents) and most employment based green cards.

Categories of immigrant visas not banned and thus still able to be issued (when embassies reopen) and get green cards when they enter the US are: spouses and children under 21 of USCs, medical personnel related to Covid (and their families), EB5 investor visas (and their families), and the special immigrant categories (SI and SQ).  These exceptions to the ban are clearly stated in the presidential proclamations.

Not every news article is misleading. Your "accuracy" comes from your own interpretation that may or may not be accurate when it comes to interpreting news articles. However, I do agree some news articles are misleading. Maybe you should quote from the executive order and explain in detail, thanks.

Let me once again state that some people here have actually read and understood the source - the presidential proclamations - and are not relying on any news articles.

Then why not just quote directly from the source, the presidential proclamations instead of having your own interpretation? Not every news article is misleading. So you are saying people should not trust any news article? You might be misleading people here too and giving them false hope. What is being reported by major news sources like NPR or NY Times isn't all misleading and false.

I got to that extreme because people kept on explaining and explaining and you kept on refusing to budge from your mistaken position. At last, something worked.

I didn't keep on refusing. I admitted right away. Something worked? You don't have to go to any extreme. People? What people? Picking a fight with users here is not the purpose of this forum.
