timeline for LPR spouse visa

Hello everyone. I'm currently a green card holder. I recently got married and want to make a spouse visa for my wife. How long does it take for my wife to get permission to fly to United States? And which visa is better, cr-1 or k3? And at what stages will the average waiting time be? For example, how much does USCIS need, how much NVC time does it take, and so on.

I see that for citizens this process takes about 1 year on average, but I can’t find information about green card holders. Someone says that it takes more than a year, and others that more than 3 years...

Thank you!

Actually neither as those categories are for USCs only.  Your only option is F2a.

Final timing is dependent on consulate and covid

There is no one number that fits all cases. See the processing times here to get an estimate

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

i-130  is now 9.5 to 12 months

NVC can take another 6-9 months

So close to 2 years is an approximate time frame

duh

Thank you! But before the situation with the covid-19, how long did it take? I understand that it depends on the country, but on average, how much does this entire process take?

You never identified your country.   The timing in Moscow,  Montreal, Madrid, Manila or Mexico is all different

YMMV

Sorry, the country is Ukraine.

15 to 18 months give or take would be typical
