Hi guys I talked to the National Visa Center this morning and was told all K1 Visa NO2A Packets transfers have been suspended until all embassy's open back up and then you will be able to set an interview date this they also said that they know alot of NO2A acceptance letters are about to expire but they have no control of the situations and that we should hear something from the embassy's before the letter expires in a email hopefully soon

@payxibka I don't understand what do you mean?

There are many things that need to happen before the embassy will resume normal Visa processing.   Nowhere is the elections or vaccination one listed as one of those items

YMMV

@payxibka Well I was only giving my opinion like most no one really knows when the embassy's will return to full operations

True, but there is a published "plan" for resumption of services.

YMMV

@payxibkaDo you happen to have the link for that plan?

Google "diplomacy strong".   The secretary of state issued this in early may.  The unfortunate thing is that while it is a three phase plan, it is difficult to assess where each country is at any point in time

YMMV

All embassies

we have already heard a K1 was issued from Australia so i don't think you all have to wait for each and every embassy to open

the follow USCIS site explains the 3 phases / travel / passport site but it lists the 3 phases for embassies to be back in service as it also is for the covid 19 suspension

There has already been some interviews scheduled in Singapore for the 2nd week of July. This is for IR1 visas tho. In assuming embassies are opening up.
