what will happen when u are tourist visa in Us then u decide to get married right away? It is possible to stay there and wait for spouse visa ? Or u need to go back tour country and wait while your paper is on process?thank u ..Godbless all

You can marry when you get to the US, but you cannot stay.  That is visa fraud.  The USC can file the petition after you get married, and you must return before your I-94 expires to wait out the process for the visa.

It depends on who you get married to whether you can stay or not. If you get married to a USC or LPR you can currently stay and file AOS. If the spouse is a visa-holder you would need to return home to apply for the dependent visa (eg spouse is L-1 holder, you would return home and apply for L-2).

This applies only if you are already here. You cannot come here with a tourist visa with the intent to stay.

From previous posts it appears the two have yet to meet.

OP, focus on building a solid, long-lasting relationship. If things go well, then think about visas. Maybe your boyfriend will want to move to your country? At the moment you sound desperate to live in the US by any means possible.

Then by default, it would be fraud, as clearly there is intent.

Yes. I didn’t follow my own advice of checking post history before replying.

Note that the K-1 is for couples who are on the brink of getting married. The right time to apply is when you are definitely ready to get married. For some people that may be after one meeting, for others it may be after 20 meetings. Sounds like you two haven’t even met yet. Focus on building the relationship you want. And when the time is right, if the relationship is right, then think about the K-1 process.

Yes we didn’t met yet ..but u know when u are both ready to commitment  we didn’t see each other yet but we already know what we wants ,, we know already what kind of realationship we want ,, marriage is not a game ,,it is sacred thing in this world ,, but thank u somuch ..
