Biometrics is nothing more then a photo and fingerprints. The info will be used to search the FBI database to see if your fiance is a "threat" with a record or something.

Bring your appointment letter with you, along with some form of I.D. (fiance). It is mostly painless.

K1 Visa Process long ago and far away...

02/09/06 - NOA1 date

12/17/06 - Married!

AOS Process a fading memory...

01/31/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD package for Olga and Anya

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

Biometrics is a piece of cake. Photo and digital fingerprints. This will be used for her electronic records and the photo for her green card. The whole process should take about 1/2 hour depending upon how many others are called that day.

Remember to leave cell phones, cameras and weapons in the car.

I'm serious. My wife accidently had one of my pocket knives in her purse. They spotted it in the metal detector. I think the USCIS is much to paranoid.

Just be sure they have all your wifes info correct when they finish up. They screwed up my wife and daughters and had wrong spellings and A# wrong.

Had to go 3 different times before thay got it right! Grrrrrrrrrrr

They can't just correct it but have to do the trip again by computer.

Cost us an additional 3 weeks + getting GCs

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

We had to wait in line for a little bit, but it was a pretty quick process. I only read one article in Cosmo Girl (beats Golf Digest any day!) before she came out from the back.
