I think it's easy to get lulled into a proverbial sleep because this is Trump's way he does rallies. I also know people kinda get caught up in the momentary "wins", even if they're hollow and have no real value. "He totally burned them, got'cha libs!"

 

But with growing problems, maintaining this demeanor like nothing is going on is actually going to turn off key demographics like independents and moderates. He had better start addressing problems they're facing, particularly in urban regions, but also online, and moreover, what he's actually doing (and going to do) to stop it. For problems like this, strong leadership becomes absolutely essential.

But seriously, it's established they didn't care about election integrity, foreign meddling, etc., they also aren't embarrassed, these are people that feel no shame or embarrassment lying on the floor of grocery stores and throwing tantrums about the second amendment. All that matters is they get their way.

The in-person attendance aside, Fox News smashed an all-time record for Saturday viewership, with 7 million having tuned in.  Innumerable others were also listening to the speech on-line.
