The man was on fire. He destroyed the fake media about drinking with 2 hands and the ramp=Parkinson's.

Fire? Yes. Dumpster fire. Sorry, we thought it was an absolute mess. He wandered all over the place, he rambled, and he spent 15 minutes talking about the ramp. If it really were something we should discount he should just ignore it. It's the Streisand Effect in action.

 

Also, the arena was not particularly full. I thought a million people were clamoring to get in? What about the musical acts that were supposed to be playing? What about the outdoor address he was supposed to give?

What I heard is that there a number of issues outside of the arena. The other issue is that people got the tickets online so others couldn't.

If he wants the ramp issue to go away, he really needs to stop talking about it. He's the president, whatever he says is going to be amplified in one part of the media or another. It should be a non issue for him, and the way to make it a non issue is to suck the oxygen out of it.

To go away? A large number of people on the Left were swearing this week that he has Parkinson's

When I heard him say that tonight, we were all remarking that none of us had heard that even once. And we are mostly political junkies, those of us on our Zoom. Just that he was showing his age. Now were there people saying that? I'm sure, but it certainly wasn't anything that was spread as widely as some are now saying it was. I certainly don't think he has it, I think he was tired. It's the most reasonable explanation.

 

I was certainly more aware of people saying Hillary had Parkinson's, and that didn't turn out to be true at all. It's all silly, anyway.

Could've just axed most of it but Pence's speech and the second half of Trump's. The latter two were good, the rest was pretty much a waste of time, boring, and demonstrated a ridiculous disconnect from what their own constituents are facing in urban regions.
