   Are you saying FOX targeted idiots? You would have to verify with the network if that's what they do.

  Normally that's what they would need to do, but if Trump keeps going off the deep end like he has been lately, it does make Biden look better by comparison. I am not sure they targeted idiots, but I for one never answer a political poll truthfully.  Polls are only used by the Parties and the Media to shape and form opinion, so they are dubious at best.

Tonight's going to give a ton of fodder for the Biden team, I bet. We're doing a watch party tonight (through Zoom of course) with friends and someone is working on a drinking game. . .

Biden does not in anyway look better by comparison.  Brad Parscales has not even begun to tear down Biden and show his many very recent gaffes/mistakes.

  I never answer a poll period. My wife was asking why we never get polled and I told her because I block the numbers the first time I see them on the caller ID. I agree they are dubious. They are not predictive, but they can give a good idea how people currently feel about the candidates. Seems like right now, we can't say who will win, but it does look like either way, everyone loses.

Not normally, but with Biden being..um..of questionable longevity..seems important.

 

Kind of feel the VP pick will be taking over sooner than later.

  Nothing has changed here in the echo chamber, but in the real world, yeah a lot of Trump supporters I talk to are not real happy right now. Whether they actually vote for someone else I don't know, but they do want to see better from the guy they supported.

  That's a given, and there are also people who would take anyone Biden picks over Pence no matter what. A lot of people could mail in their vote today with confidence that nothing that happens going forward can change how they would vote.

 

  What actually makes a difference is if it affects anyone who is on the fence. I still hear a lot of people saying they don't want to vote for either candidate. The significance is if the VP choice makes any difference to those people.

   I can't get really excited. US politics is currently a little like watching two sinking ships. The only thing to celebrate is being on the one that is going down slower.

we all know already the press coverage of the riot is going to be so one sided it will eb amsuing.
