Hello everyone.
I have been reading on here that K-1 visas are on hold now. However my ceac status for my fiancé’s visa has updated twice, once on May 26, and then again on June 12. I was just wondering why that is, and also if anyone else is going through something similar.
My fiancé has his interview last year in March 2019. His case was put under administrative processing ever since them so it has been almost 15 months since his case is under administrative processing.

Okay but ours is not CR 1, it is K-1. So that didn’t really give me any info.

There is no concrete evidence to say that K1\s are on hold...its mostly speculations from the embassies....no one has come out to support that claim....K1's are just not mentioned by name in a lot of declarations and news.

I suspect that the embassy is beginning to process their backlog of cases. I also think they are "touching" records, the reason for the date changes to yours, that had interview prior to the shutdown and now will be issued once the "ban" has been lifted for the embassies. Date changes are POSITIVE!!! You may see an issued visa soon so I would start preparing to leave once it is released. You'll have a short window in which to travel. Good luck and stay engaged.
