When you receive your appointment date you have to register your appointment on the site. Its how they confirm things. Its also where you set up your courier service where the send your passport back to you. My first interview,  this was the process.

My country isn't listed, however, the embassy in my country was shut down completely before COVID due to militia attacks. 

So perhaps the ones not listed don't have an embassy that is going to be available for interviews?

There has got to be somone that understands what I'm trying to ask. 

 

My main concern is.... Oh never mind. I will keep hunting for the answer. 

married 10 years ago / visa issued 5 years ago and yes ,  things have changed but i read read read on the changes 

and i read the site you posted and this is what that site does: and you are way past that stage. it tells you how to do things / not a site to register after doing all of this.

• Obtain general information on how to apply for a United States Visa.
• Pay the required Visa application fees.
• Submit your visa application to a U.S. Consulate.
