K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

It takes Delhi about a month to send out the interview letter and the interview is usually a month after the letter arrives. So I would say you are probably looking at about May/June interview. Have fun!

Would there be any allowance for the fact that the USCIS screwed up and that I am not an Indian instead am a Brit (close ally)?

Hummm...not sure, but I am inclined to say "doubt it". Delhi is probably going to book interviews based on how they are received from NVC. I am not familiar with your full story, are you not a true resident of India? Were you married in India? Is that why the interview is set there?

I am going on a K1 visa and stupidly chose to have it sent to New Delhi instead of London so I could spend time with my parents...

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Married 17th November 2006

great news anita!!!!!!! but remember ... you are always going to be with your gypsy!!!! it's just going to take a little bit of time!!! :lol:

expect an interview in july ..... anything sooner will be an absolute bonus!!! in the meantime, do you have everything ready?? police cert, original K1 petition (& documents), I134 (and supporting evidence), etc?

I have all the documents in place... have the photocopies ready too... and am so ecstatic I cannot sleep... Lorelle me darling you bet I am dancing... now I have important things like shoes, dresses so on and so forth to worry about... decided that I did not like the dress I had got made - is not bridal enough... sooooooooooooooo am getting something made... saw a pattern that I absolutely love... and am gonna get my dress made to match that... am also gonna go on a crash diet.... oh I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo over the moon... also thinking of what to wear in my hair... decided on flowers... jeez... I must sound batty :lol: If anyone wants to see what my dress will be patterned on well I am gonna put it up on the Bazaar...
