I have a Brazilian girlfriend, who I plan on marrying later this year.   Intending on starting the CR1 process next year, with the aim of it being IR1 by the time of point of entry.

I have been attempting to soak up knowledge of this long process from this wonderful community here on this website.

It is helpful if you start (and keep updated) your timeline here

I don’t think it is really that helpful to your case. But by adding your information and updating over time it helps others see historical timeframes of how long cases are taking to be approved. So, for you, other people’s cases would help you Get an idea as to when your case will be approved.
I hope that makes sense.

I don't have knowlege about the CR1 process, but if it requires medicals and interviews, then my thread about this in Brazil may be helpful to you.

Thank you, I had come across your excellent post here, and made notes.  That link does not seem to work though.  Here is the proper link
