Everything goes to VSC! I believe Fedaniela posted the costs earlier..i765 is going for $410, while the AP is currently at $575. The increments is not until October 2 this year. So let your attorney take note!👍

I just received my approval for my VAWA petition which was filed on October 2018.  To God be the glory. Not sure what the next steps  are. Any advise.

Hi guys!

Very unexpected today I found my EAD card in a mail.

Ive been waiting for it 14 months!!!

1 year 2 months and 6 days!

It was such a struggle!

 

And. The main thing!

(I was so angry😡)

Seems that USCIS sent my card to my shelters PO Box!

But on May 2019 I request address change and I HAVE EMAIL CONFIRMATION FROM USCIS that i changed address!!!

So that’s why I guess they cannot deliver it at the first time!

But now I’m happy!

Finally!

And I’m really so appreciated to my senator office! They really was so helpful and were answering right away!

 

Guys! Who is waiting for EAD (EAD renewal) I know how stressful it is! I know that this is such a pain! When you don’t know when you will live normal without stressing yourself out with tracking your work authorization!

Im sending you a lot of hugs!!! You will be there!!! That happy day will come for everyone who is now in this battle.

what do they mean by "you will be notified separately when a decision is received on your pending adjustment of status application ". ? Does it mean I would not be going for an interview ?  Thank you .

My vawa package has been sent to Vermont center this week.  my lawyer asked for $1225 and two passport style photo to USCIS when I was also applying for the EAD. But I noticed that there is fee for EAD plus additional two passport style photo. I mean I’m familiar with marriage based on green card but new to vawa and starting worrying that all process has been going right????!!! If anybody could advise, I’m truly truly appreciated!!!

This matters for determining your local office and for them to be able to locate you if needed. Its highly unlikely for USCIS to do a home visit for VAWA but if they were they need to know where you are because you certainly dont live in a box at the post office!  

 

For VAWA cases you need to mail a paper change of address to Vermont - make sure you sign it and get tracking info for it. People have been reporting problems with doing change of addresses so send it to Vermont and then wait a bit and follow up with your congresperson to make sure it was changed. In your letter you can tell them your mailing address of the PO box and your physical address of wherever that is. 

 

Your 765 was sent to the wrong place. Theres not much you can do about that. It can cause additional time delays because NBC is going to have to send it to Vermont to process it. When you inquire with the congressperson to verify they changed your address you can also ask if they can help get your 765 from NBC to VSC. You can also ask them for help in expediting your 765 renewal if you are going to lose your job as thats a valid reason for expedite.

This is the general statement on all the approval notices..basically saying another office (local field office) will process and inform you about the status of the (i485)petition. The i485 obviously is adjudicated only after the i360 has been decided! So my dear, it doesn't mean in anyway that there won't be an interview. Approval without interview is based on the discretion of the officer handling your case..👍😊

Am new to this forum, a friend of mine advised me to join this forum yesterday because of what am passing through. I came on a K1 visa a year ago,after few months he changed completely to an abusive man. He abuse me physically and verbally and threatening to deport me if I ever tell anybody or call Police and I believed him because I have no friend or any family here. I didnt have any record of his abuse. Please I need help on what step I need to take. Note I have a pending adjustment of status but am not sure he will go. I have EAD and AP.
