I've received this same letter from the same director..happens whenever a third party makes an enquiry on my behalf..nothing to fret about. Just reiterating and protecting your privacy!😊👍

@Stillwinning!!!😊 Thanks that makes sense. I submitted an inquiry for VAWA last year, but didn't receive this letter so I was confused. Lol

As always thank you for answering . 😊

What is the normal processing time?

For I-360 it's 18 to 23.5 months. Current cut off for case inquiry is receipt before August 24, 2018.

For I-765 it's 3 to 6.5 months. Current cut off for the case inquiry is receipt before Feb 29, 2020 for VAWA EADs (c)(31) and January 21, 2020 for AOS EADs (c)(9).

For I-485 it depends on which field office your application got forwarded to. VSC generally will not approve them on their own.

Not yet, still waiting.

My congresswoman reached out to them and they said that they will notify me when they schedule it.

The above my original post. Today when i logged into USCIS account. It says "On July 28, 2020, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR11922002704MSC, was assigned to an officer for response".

Before it was July 21st now July 28.

I think they are playing with my emotions.  The AP is pending since July 10th 2019.

They will not answer your question because you are a vAWA case.  You will get a letter in the mail telling you to contact VAWA Unit in Vermont and that is all.

Hi Guys,

I submitted a online request for my case which is outside of normal processing time and I contacted my local Congressman. Today I received this letter. I don't understand if they are referring to the congressional hearing or the online request I made. Any thoughts?

As always thank you guys! 😇

You cannot do online inquiry because of being a protected case.
