this morning I woke up to a a Denial for I-765  work permit from a different eac. I didn’t apply for a eac for my daughter so I am wondering who is it for? Or why?

Hi dear, 😊so you have nothing to worry about! Did you apply for a renewal? If no too, then like I said it's nothing to fret about. Might be a mix up or their usual mess.👍

Good Morning my VJ family,

My I-360 status has updated this morning to "Case Was Approved".

Since I have filed I-485 and I-360 concurrently, do I need to forward a copy of this notice to NBC or my local office?

[My I-485 has status "Case Was Received At My Local Office"].

You do not need to anything! Your i485 is already at the local office..awaiting a date for interview or just straight up approval as we have seen happening currently. Nothing is official regarding that but it's happening, at least for some cases!💁 congrats dear!😊👍

Have a question about moving out of state.

I filed I-485, I-131 and I-765 in August 2019. My spouse hid substance abuse problems and mental health issues from me throughout our marriage, and left our home in October 2019. Our i-485 interview was scheduled for January 2020, but my attorney postponed it. I-360 filed in March 2020. Have not received rescheduling notice for i-485 interview, and case status shows 'Scheduled for Interview' since December 2019. Received my EAD in January 2020.

I currently live in NYC, and work in the hospitality industry, and I dont believe I will be available to continue to live here with the pandemic for the foreseeable future.

I have a friend who I could move in with out of state, and have a job lined up there also. I am worried about moving out of state may cause my i-485, i-131 and i-765 to be revoked before the rescheduled interview, where I would ask to keep my i-485 active while my i-360 is being processed.

Can anyone give me advice on this situation?

You can stop worrying about the fears you mentioned above as you are only required to update USCIS when you move. They will take care of the rest. Be sure to update your address. At least the last time I checked this was the procedure! You mentioned an attorney, he should know this!👍

Thank you! I appreciate the support.

The state I may be moving to will require me to get a car, but will only provide a drivers license for the duration of my EAD. I will be renewing it next month, but with all the delays and problems with USCIS at the moment, I am afraid that I won't be able to get too and from work if I'm even without it for a day!

It is a great opportunity to start a new chapter after everything that has happened the last year. Hopefully I can get this issue resolved so that I can continue to move forward with my life as positively as I can

I'll advice you take things one step at a time for now..cross the bridge when you get to it. Nobody knows what tomorrow might bring...some here where eagerly awaiting their interview notice but were approved without lifting a finger!💁move, then update USCIS! Be sure to renew your work document on time..the earliest been 180 days before expiration date. Also be reminded that with the current global situation, authorities..dmv etc are aware of delays and all..rigid laws are a bit lax..there is an understanding. My inspection sticker expired since May and my drivers license since March there have been no consequences. It's not our fault there is a pandemic which has altered the norms across civilization!😏
