Hi all!

I filed my I-360 in March 2019, just received a notification that they have requested more evidence. My lawyer haven't received the letter yet. Is this a bad sign? What do they normally ask? I am super worried if I don't have enough evidence and even if I do, processing this will take for another year.

Sending strength for everyone! The good news are that the cases seem to be moving faster and they are processing Spring 2019.

Hey NY2020! RFE is what it is...request for evidence...no point reading a sign/meaning to it..if anything, see it that your case is been worked on! USCIS usually asks for evidence on any of the criteria that makes you eligible for the petition in the first place! Really it can be anything..Evidence of abuse, bonafide marriage, shared residence, good moral character, or proof of qualifying relationship etc! Keep the house posted and goodluck!🙏

Hi Sandra,

I tried to read different gov websites and I can't find info about exemption for Advance Parole holders?
It says everywhere that only USC, PR and like immediate family members of USC or PR are exempt...
Can you share a link where it says about AP holders, so I can be more safe to travel after reading it on a .gov website ?

You r an immediate family member of USC as per Sandra wordings.

ugh @Stillwinning!!!😊 gurl. I remembered you said you dont know why all these lawyers believe our EAD renewal should be sending to NBC instead of Vermont. This happened to me as well, and I actually like my lawyer!!!! She is very competent (for 99% of the time except the renewal!!) She sent my EAD renewal to NBC, which I just learned after she sent me the receipt.... Her reason being I have have an adjustment case pending based on marriage, and now case was filed. ughhhhhhhh after reading all these posts about ### long waiting time at NBC, i dunno how long ima wait for this one!!!

Oh gurl!😏 what can I say..glad you like your attorney and most importantly, that she's competent!😊 Just that many have few experience with VAWA or no experience at all. The instant you file for i360, Vermont becomes your port. That's where your ship sails and ducks! It seems like an innocent mistake on her part considering the situation, but experience makes the difference. I waited long for my EAD which was sent to NBC instead of VSC. I guess you'll just have to wait it out!💁

Yes it's just about the usual time..and congrats dear!😀👍 I don't know your field office but be prepared to wait for as long as it takes to either be scheduled for interview or be approved without one! It's been a while I heard of anyone been scheduled..be watchful from here!🙏

Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranj @Engineering-rocks and everyone else (sorry if missed anyone as you all are great and have been so helpful to me).

Hi everyone. Is anyone who filed for i-485 application under VAWA back in August 2017 still waiting for the interview notice or for the interview to be scheduled?

Do I need to make a case with the USCIS?

Also, if anyone can advise - my case was initially denied and reopened recently in Feb 2020. But, my attorney was unable to provide information regarding I'm back to the line as normal or my interview timeline gets pushed back further  to the back of the queue?

If anyone knows or has any information, I would really appreciate it if you could please advise me or share your experience. Many thanks!

Do I need to make a case inquiry with the USCIS? Any suggestions?

I know we are going through really challenging times - in terms of both the COVID-19 pandemic & economic fallout. Hope that everyone and loved ones are safe and healthy.
