Hi Sandra,

I tried to read different gov websites and I can't find info about exemption for Advance Parole holders?
It says everywhere that only USC, PR and like immediate family members of USC or PR are exempt...
Can you share a link where it says about AP holders, so I can be more safe to travel after reading it on a .gov website ?

I participated online Β in the last Β external USCIS stakeholder event and they mentioned about the exemptions. The information I posted was the information they gave Β us.

Β

I checked a few minutes ago Β with the AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) and I found an amendment Β (JuneΒ  29,2020) stating the proclamation shall not apply for someΒ H1b,J,L Β visa holders, but I could not find the exemption for VAWA petitioners as mentioned in the stakeholder event, that being said do not travel if you can't find the mentioned Β exemption.Check with the CBP, WHITE HOUSE Β and Department of State.

Β

H1b,J,L Β visa holders-Β The proclamation shall apply only to any individual who:

.....

....

iii) does not have an official travel document other than a visa (such as a transportation letter, an appropriate boarding foil, or an advance parole document) that is valid on the effective date of this proclamation or issued on any date thereafter that permits him or her to travel to the United States and seek entry or admission.

Hi all!Β

Β

I filed my I-360 in March 2019, just received a notification that they have requested more evidence. My lawyer haven't received the letter yet. Is this a bad sign? What do they normally ask? I am super worried if I don't have enough evidence and even if I do, processing this will take for another year.Β

Β

Sending strength for everyone! The good news areΒ that the cases seem to be moving faster and they are processing Spring 2019.

its not a bad sign at all. It all depends what you sent earlier. It could be your birth certificate, proof ofΒ bone fide marriage, police clearance report etc.Β

do not panic, wait till you get your letter. Good luck.Β

Hello family,

Hope everyone's doing well and staying safe πŸ™.

So my story never ends as today I got notification for an rfe with regards to 485. The interview was completed in March and the 120 days waiting countdown ended this week. At the moment I'm really thinking hard on what was missed or skipped during the interview and I'm praying this should just be an easy fix.

Could it be: Passport pics, birth certificate ..... etc.... I'll keep everyone posted on the outcome of the information they need this time.

Β

God bless πŸ™ us all in our endeavors and day to day activities.
