@AhmedEid hello dear, prima facie is a very good sign, it means USCIS found you qualified candidate for Vawa Approval,.. if you get prima facie determination you should rejoice,  in my own opinion, it mean 75 to 80 percent of your Application has been approved, USCIS may request more documents or may not most times police clearance from home country or birth certificate, this doesn't mean the case can not be denied but it very rear cases and not common.. only if they request something and u couldn’t provide it and your explanation of why you couldn’t provide it wasn’t clear enough... stay blessed.. I can send u a link to a video to tell you more abt this

NOT TRUE at all....there is no requirement to even issue a PF.  There are several VJers who already stated that they NEVER received PF and got approved.  In fact I only received my PF six months after I filed for VAWA, and only received PF renewal once and nothing else.

Do you mean you have received it or haven't received it? Well June 30th is only a few days ago...do you have an attorney?

@Pinkrlion my dear you are wrong, prima facie gives you right to some public benefits, like Medicaid , food stamp, etc if you don’t have a prima facie handy you can not get those benefits,..so it is a good sign

prima facie mean at a glance Your Application has be found approvable , so how is it not a good sign? For those who filed Vawa and didn’t get a prima facie  they can request  for it, but if truly you not qualified you will not get it until proven otherwise , if you Received your prima facie after 6months of filing that mean USCIS was slow to send it ...

let me say this quick, I received my Vawa Receipt that say  fees has been waved after 1 yr and 2months of filling vawa..the original Receipt  notice came 2weeks after filling Vawa..... but fees waver was 1yr plus .. those are error we all know USCIS make errors..

if you read my other post you will see I also talked abt people not getting prima facie doesn't mean their case would not be Approved in the end....

@Cupsy oh sorry dear, these things can put someone in hot seat.., I think you would get it soon though... give it some few days...

A quick question, when did your Vawa got Approved? And did you file Vawa and i485 together? Or was your i485  pending from your previous spouse application?

If you are talking about PF and receiving Government benefits than yes, you need PF for that.  However, you are making reference that if you get PF your VAWA case will be approved.  That is not true, you will cause people to worry that they have not received PF.
