Hi everyone. I m so happy to see so many approvals. It gives me hope someday I will be next. I have a question guys for someone who knows or has an idea. I checked all my papers and found that my I-130 and I-485 forms which based on marriage was denied due to I didn't go to interview. So for now I have only I360 pending since November 2018  and recently they send me third PF for 180 days. Lawyer told me not to file another forms and wait for approval. Reading posts from here I m getting confused.  Do I have to file I485 and I130 again? How it works? Since I have EAD from my asylum case I hope I can renew it through asylum again, but do I have to file I485 or wait for decision from USCIS on i360? Thanks in advance for responses.

You need to file a new form I-485, you can file now or wait for approval.

Hello guys,  I applied for my EAD renewal in the beginning of May 2020. My payment for the renewal was taken out of my account ($410) as ACH by uscis on 5/12/20. I am un able to see the receipt number since i can not view the image of the check front or back. I did not receive any receipt in the mail. Its going to be almost a month and a half. Is there anything I can do to get my receipt number. Does uscis have any online way to contact them? I am really worried. Also my vawa case has been pending since June 2017. They never asked me for any RFE or anything. I wrote an email to my congressman and they emailed me a privacy form to fill out. I am sending it tomorrow.

Should I ask the congressman to also inquire on my EAD renewal? I am totally lost ... any advice will help me a lot. Thanks everybody. Pray for me.

Definitely praying for you and all others waiting..especially in these times. Yes let your congressman enquire about all the petitions you want answers for..You don't have to feel lost..look at aquila..she was waiting since Feb 2017 but just got approved not long ago...you will too! Keep the faith!🙏😊

Hi Everyone,

VAWA approved on Feb 5,2020

Received approval letter dated on March 18,2020

360,485 filed together

on April 21,2020, uscis online case status updated as RFE was issued

RFE not received

I don't have attorney, so my paralegal who had filed my forms initially raised an e-request on May 9,2020

On May27,2020 received a letter saying that"third party enquiries are not entertained".Request me(applicant/petitioner) to write a letter to VSC for requesting a copy of RFE or if any attorney of record file G-28(so in my case no attorney of record)

So Sent a hand written request letter to VSC for copy of RFE on May27,2020

And sent a another letter for requesting copy of rfe on June 13,2020

June 19, raised an e-request by me(previous e-request raised by paralegal) and status shows on Jun 22,2020 -- assigned to an officer for response(On Jul ,19 - system allowed me to file new e-request)

Planning to write one more letter to VSC

Note:1.Spoke to tier-2 officer - they told they can't disclose any info bcoz of vawa case

2.Raised an FOIA request on June 15,2020-still pending

          3. Sent an email to SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov  regarding the same(no response)

          4. Spoke to an attorney(paid consultation for 30 min)  - He told "already did what is required-Now need to wait "

5.No address changes since my initial filing

Still waiting for my RFE after 70+days

Requesting advice/Suggestions @Stillwinning!!!😊

Hi, in addition to all your attempts..you should contact your congressman ASAP! The RFE can be sent to them..lots of people here did just that and were able to get a copy of their RFE! The paid lawyer thing..was totally a waste of time and money in my opinion! And congratulations on your approval! 🌟

Try to go for infopass.. call uscis and request for infopass appointment. They will print it and give it to you .

Also, contact your congress person

Bright Idea Shroy😊...but do you know of anyone who has gone for an infopass of late? I mean if this officers are still hesitant on scheduling interviews due to the pandemic...why would they want to entertain in-person appointments at this time? Just wondering that's all.💁

No need to worry. On my vawa approval, my i130 priority date is mentioned.

My i485 had the MSC code too (Missouri Service Center) obviously your i485 was reopened and USCIS linked it to your VAWA when your attorney wrote to them..so yeah that is the priority date they will use!👍The truth is until you get your GC you're going to think all kinds of things...coupled with the anxiety and all of that...anyway you can always confirm via your representative so you can have some form of reassurance!😊

thank you both of you for your replies.

let's see what is my congressman going to say about it, I'm hoping for the best!

Hey dear..right! I believe there wasn't a pandemic when you went then..what I am asking is have they started taking infopass appointments? Because if they have then they might as well start scheduling interviews!💁

Hey you amazing people!!!

So Happy to be able to share this at last!! My EAD renewal, which I had filed in 9/2019 is finally approved !!!

It was sent to NBC by my lawyer (He explained and showed  me his reasoning and the USCIS guide saying exactly that, I could not argue). I did involve the congressman, but they only got a generic answer from USCIS so dunno how much it helped. I also had started an inquiry of my own online as it was out of normal processing time. Just did the same for my travel doc I-131

I think I lost out on 2 jobs because the recruiter did not trust me when i gave them the extension letter 🙄 its fine, they were temp jobs

cant wait to hold it in my hands !!!

Congratulations... Finally its approved.
