Hey guys

My attorney and I are shocked. My LPR abuser just got his US Citizenship today with a felony E (for stolen property) for this crime he was sentence to 12 month in jail he only serve 9 months all this on his record, my I-360 Vawa approved on record, 2 order of protection from me and his current girlfriend on record, Domestic Violence allegation on court from both of us on record. USCIS immigration system sometimes just surprises. My question is can this benefit me on my I-485 or long run US Citizenship do I need to request a change on my approval category from a Battered Spouse of an LPR to USC Battered Spouse? Anyone know?? Thanks

Obviously the implication of this development is that you are able to naturalize in 3yrs from when your GC was issued as opposed to the 5yr requirement for spouses of LPRs!😊👍

Psychological evaluations do not have a set template but rather should contain enough details for it to suffice and be acknowledged! The trauma you experienced can not be exactly how I experienced mine..read through what you have there..does it talk about the abuse you suffered ? How it affected you? Your response to counselling/therapy? And lastly referrals if needed? Then you know you have what you really need!👍

So my lawyer has been hired and disappeared - I'm back on my own. I wired money and heard back once from the paralegal that they will get back to me - never heard back. I would have asked her but can't rely therefor have to ask you, I am sorry.

My eval is 4.5 pages, talks about:

1) Evaluator background

2) Referral information

3) Therapeutic relationship

4) Evaluation Methodology

5) Mental status (able to comprehend and speak)

6) Biopsychosocial background (half a page)

7) Trauma history (1 page)

8. Assessment (the tests I've done - all 5 of them takes 1 page)

9) Conclusion

I'm asking my therapist to include some language that deportation would negatively affect my recovery and that I have a stronger support network in here etc.. Should I add this extreme hardship language?

Thank you

I think you're good if the above is the content of the report! Also the latter info you're trying to include is of no effect. Vermont adjudicates VAWA based on abuse not determine or issue GC. Once your i360 is approved, you stand a better chance of adjusting status and issued GC. You're all set..wish you all the best.😊👍

Also they can recommend that your petition be approved so you can get back to living a normal life and become a valuable member of the society! This is better than saying deportation will have an adverse effect on you....hey they separating families at the border..they do much worse..those words you were looking to include wouldn't fly! The attorney you hired is a criminal if they took money and ghosted you! What is this world turning into?😏

Mostly birth certificate. Let us know when you receive it.👍

What can be wrong in a birth certificate? Please

I would like to know so i can have mine ready just in case.

Because in my country it takes forever to get any document you need.

Sometimes the petitioner forgets to include it..other times it gets misplaced/lost in transition hence the request for it. Yes always ensure you have it handy just incase..💁
