Hi ladies and gentlemen. As few of you know my i360 already got approved as I already have my c31 EAD (waiting for approval notice though) but anyway, now I am pondering on filing a divorce as I want to get my life in order slowly. As usual I don't want to hire a lawyer coz I can't afford it I have too many obligations to catch up. I just want to ask, if I file for divorce and use "no fault" as the reason because it seems to be the fastest and easier way, will it affect my i485 processing especially during the interview?

I have researched I can also do "extreme cruelty" but I don't want to process anything that will let me contact my spouse. I don't want anything to do with him the slightest bit or have any contact with him. My life is moving forward I don't want any wounds I try to heal to be opened.

Any advice please. Thank you as usual.

I payed $139 to do it online. They ask you a bunch of questions pertaining to your marriage, and then they file your paperwork. But it depends on the situation of your marriage if its a very complicated like a contested marriage then it gets a bit tougher. But they'll help you through it, and they have great customer service.  I didn't have one complaint to say about them. It went smoothly and they file it to the court and I just goto the hearing (about two) then it was all over. And my wife didn't get to steal my car like she wanted (which I bought before the marriage). But I was just like you, I didn't wanna pay no lawyer etc and I didn't know how to file the paperwork or fill it out. So thats why I used online divorce. They literally do it all for you and all you do is just relax and wait for it to process.

here's the website if you wanna see how much it would cost you

Has anybody experience this? I went to renew my drivers license and they will not let me renew it, this also happened whenever it was about to expire before the dps got close because of the pandemic I went and they needed “two verifications’”  from immigration but nevertheless they couldnt proceed with it because they close a week after. My workpermit was category c31 and was the one that I received whenever my vawa was approved back in november of last year. My drivers license expired since april 04 2020 and the personnel at the dps told me I cant renew it until 30 days befor it expires 😟😅 and I was like how can i be with a drivers license for only one month lol and she said that people that are in the middle of the process of fixing their status get that so I dont know because I have not yet receive an interview and she said I can show an approval letter from immigration from the green card and they can issue me a drivers license but needless to say I dont have that either lol.

Hi guys, hope everyone is doing great and keeping safe. Please those who have gone through i485 process after vawa approval, what documents are they asking for initial evidence? This is what I saw yesterday when I was checking my status

Initial evidence has to be birth certificate. RFEs for i485 after vawa are very common now..
